SMauditor is a web platform for managing audits and consulting projects. The system allows CertBody managers to manage client companies, assign auditors and consultants, send surveys, and generate documents.

ℹ️ System URL: app.smauditor.io. We recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Typical Auditor Workflow

Step 1

CertBody manager creates a company card

The CertBody manager goes to the Companies section and creates a company card — a client or partner. The company name, contact details, email, and additional information about applicable ISO standards are filled in.

Step 2

Create an audit or consulting project

The manager or auditor creates a project via Create Audit or Create Consulting on the company page. A responsible person is assigned: an auditor (for audits) or a consultant (for consulting).

Step 3

Fill in the form (Survey)

The form in the Forms tab can be filled in two ways:

  • 👤 Client — receives a link via Send Invitation and fills in the questionnaire independently
  • 🔍 Auditor — if an interview was conducted with the client, the auditor fills in the form based on the information received. This is required for subsequent report generation
Step 4

Generate report documentation

After the form is fully completed (status Completed), click Generate Folder — the system will automatically substitute the data into the template and generate a ready document package.

🔐 Sign In

To start working, you need to log in to the SMauditor system using your login and password.

Step 1

Open browser and go to the site

In the browser address bar, enter: app.smauditor.io. The login page will open.

Step 2

Enter your credentials

  • In the Login name field, enter your email or login
  • In the Password field, enter your password (click the eye icon to show characters)
  • Click the Login button
⚠️ If you forgot your password — click the "Forgot your password?" link below the Login button. You will receive an email with recovery instructions.

After successful login, the main system page opens with the navigation menu at the top: Projects, Companies, Audits, Surveys, Templates, Document Templates, Settings.

For security, always click Log out in the upper right corner after finishing work.

🏢 Company Management

The Companies section contains a list of all client organizations. Here you can view, add, and edit companies, as well as navigate to their audits and forms.

Click Companies in the top menu. You will see a table with all companies.

Step 2

Create a company card

  • 1 Click the blue + Create Company button in the upper right corner
  • 2 Fill in the company name — client or partner (Company Name)
  • 3 Enter the contact person's email
  • 4 Add the contact person's name (Contact Person)
  • 5 In the Additional Info field, specify ISO standards (e.g.: ISO 9001, ISO 27001)
  • 6 Save the company card

ℹ️ Buttons in the Actions column: ✉️ — send email, ✏️ — edit company, 🗑️ — delete company.

📋 Creating Audits

An audit is linked to a specific company and contains all information about the review: standard, dates, auditors, and results.

Step 1

Go to the company page

In the Companies section, find the desired company and click on its name to open the profile.

Step 2

Click "Create Audit"

All created audits are displayed in the Audits tab on the company page. Click on an audit to open its details.

ℹ️ The Audits section in the top menu shows all audits across all companies at once. Convenient for general monitoring.

📝 Forms & Surveys

Forms are questionnaires that the client or auditor fills in before starting an audit / consulting engagement. Responses are automatically used for document generation.

Click on the form card to open it. Fill in all fields marked with an asterisk (*) — they are required. The system saves data automatically as you type.

Form statuses

  • 🟡 🟡 In Progress — form not yet fully completed
  • 🟢 🟢 Completed — all fields filled, form is ready
  • 🔵 🔵 Submitted — form submitted by client
Step 4

Send the form to a client

To have the client fill in the form independently, use the Send Invitation function on the company page. The client will receive an email with a link and can fill in the questionnaire through a browser without logging into the system.

⚠️ Fields marked "N/A" — fill in as «N/A» and briefly explain the reason. Do not leave required fields empty.

📄 Document Templates

The Templates and Document Templates sections allow you to manage report templates used for automatic document generation based on completed forms.

Click Document Templates in the top menu. Here you'll find Word templates with placeholders (variables).

Step 2

How template variables work

Document templates contain special placeholder tags in the format ${variable_name}. When a document is generated, the system automatically substitutes form responses into these placeholders.

Generate documents

  • 1 Make sure the client form is fully completed (status Completed)
  • 2 Go to the Forms tab on the company page
  • 3 Click the Generate Folder button
  • 4 The system will automatically substitute form data into the template
  • 5 Ready documents will be available for download
Step 4

Save form as template

If you created a form that you plan to use for other clients, click the Save as Template button in the upper right corner of the form. This allows you to reuse the survey structure.

Recommendation: before generating documents, always verify that all required form fields are filled in correctly. Incorrect or empty fields may cause errors in the generated document.

💡 Tips & FAQ

Answers to the most common questions and practical tips for working effectively with SMauditor.

❓ Client didn't receive the invitation (form)

Check the email address in the company profile. Ask the client to check Spam / Junk folder. If needed, resend the invitation via Send Invitation.

❓ "Generate Folder" button is not active

The form is not yet completed. Check the status — it should be Completed. Open the form and make sure all required fields (*) are filled in.

❓ How to change the interface language?

In the upper right corner, click English ▾ and select the desired language from the list.

❓ How to view all audits at once?

Go to the Audits section in the top menu — here you'll find a consolidated list of audits across all companies with filters by status and date.

❓ Difference between "Audit" and "Consulting"

  • 📋 📋 Audit — official audit review of ISO standard compliance
  • 🤝 🤝 Consulting — consulting project (preparation for certification, ISMS implementation, etc.)
